1. What StreamTranscripts Is

StreamTranscripts is a search platform that generates AI transcriptions of Twitch VODs and makes them searchable. We do not host, restream, or redistribute the original video or audio content.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use StreamTranscripts. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Acceptable Use

By using StreamTranscripts, you agree to these terms.

Free access: You may search and read transcripts for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Paid API access: Paid plans grant you the right to use transcript data commercially, including integration into your own products and services, subject to the limits of your plan.

Regardless of plan, you may not:

• Scrape or bulk-download transcripts outside of the provided API
• Use the service to harass, stalk, or target any streamer or individual
• Misrepresent transcripts as verbatim quotes — they are AI-generated and may contain errors
• Circumvent rate limits or access controls
• Resell raw transcript data as a standalone dataset

4. Transcript Accuracy

Transcripts are generated automatically using AI speech recognition. They are not verbatim records and will contain errors, especially with names, slang, overlapping speech, and non-English words. Do not treat them as authoritative quotes.

5. Content Ownership

All original stream content belongs to the respective streamers and is subject to Twitch's terms. StreamTranscripts does not claim ownership of the source content. The AI-generated transcripts are derivative works produced by our platform.

6. Content Removal

If you are a streamer and want your transcripts removed, contact us at [email protected]. We will remove all transcripts for your channel within 30 days.

7. Accounts

Some features may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

StreamTranscripts is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, completeness, or that the service will meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StreamTranscripts is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including inaccurate transcriptions, missed content, or service interruptions.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Handling of your personal data after termination is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and the European Union. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated on the site.
